Since summer 2008 Matthias Schmidt leads a kitchen team of eight in the Villa Merton. The ambitious chef got his qualifications in renowned two-star restaurants on the island of Sylt and in Stuttgart for a cuisine that achieved several awards. His motto: classic light cuisine interpreted in a modern and up-to-date manner.
